Blog O'sphere Dreams
Okay, what does it mean when you have a dream in which another blogger (whom you've never met, mind you) is featured? Because I had a dream in which Laurie Ruettimann of Punk Rock HR and I were camping.
So, I don't camp. I have never met Laurie Ruettimann. And why would my subconscious be working on such things?
Whatever.

In college, I remember a psychology class that ruined my perceptions of how important dreams are. I'm going to get the terminology wrong, but dreams are basically just compilations of random images stored in your brain...and your brain is smart enough to make a story out of it. Also, the images that you see in your dream are usually things you've seen recently , but they can also be things that you weren't even paying attention to...things in your unconscious. Think of your brain as a big filing cabinet and your brain grabs files through out the night and puts a story together based on that. I threw out my dream interpretation book after I heard that. Such a letdown!
BTW, you didn't happen to watch Jon and Kate plus 8's episode last night on camping, did you?
A scholarly insight, indeed...thank you for caring enough about my psyche to comment. I didn't see J&K+8 last night, but I cannot imagine the bravery of those people taking that horde camping. Seriously, I wouldn't take myself camping, let alone 8 children under the age of 6.
Oh my god. Camping is on my personal top 10 list of things that suck. It's #8. I hate it!
@Laurie: I'm sorry to have involved you in outdoor shenanigans, even in my tortured subconscious. Note to self: stop reading blogs before bed.
Okay, you're it:
